We've Finally Done It, Qualkem Has Its Own Online Shop

We've been making cleaning products in Cheshire for over 55 years. That's not a typo. Fifty-five. And for the vast majority of that time, if you wanted to buy our products, you'd have to find us through a wholesaler, a distributor, or a retailer who stocked our brands. Which is great, we love those partners and we're not going anywhere without them.

But here's the thing. Customers kept asking us the same question: "Can we just buy directly from you?"

So, we built a shop. shop.qualkem.co.uk now live, and honestly, it's been a long time coming.

Why bother going direct?

Fair question. We're a manufacturer. We make the stuff. Surely someone else should sell it?

Well, yes and no. Our wholesale and distribution partners are still very much part of the picture. But there's something to be said for buying straight from the people who actually develop, formulate and manufacture the products. You know it's genuine. You know it's fresh. And if you have questions, you're dealing directly with the people who made it.

What's on the site?

We've launched with our most popular consumer ranges across three main areas:

Motorhome & Caravan Care: This is where it all started for many of our customers. Our 40shot and LeisureTime toilet chemicals have a proper following among the touring community (115 reviews on the 40shot Blue and counting). Concentrated formulas, smaller bottles, fewer trips to the chemical disposal point. Simple.

Household Cleaning: Our HouseProud range covers everything from macerator toilet descaler (if you know, you know) to beeswax furniture polish that smells like actual honey. We've also just launched Mirror Magic, an anti-fog spray for bathroom mirrors. Because wiping your mirror with your towel after every shower is not a long-term strategy.

Ultrasonic Cleaning: If you own an ultrasonic cleaner for jewellery, dentures, glasses or whatever else, you need a decent solution to go with it. Ours is concentrated, professional-grade, and goes a very long way. The 1L bottle makes up to 1,000 uses. That's not a typo either.

 A bit about us

We're a second-generation, family-run business based in Crewe, Cheshire. Everything we sell is developed and manufactured in-house. We source as many raw materials as we can from within the UK, and we work closely with local suppliers because, well, that's how we've always done it, and it's the right thing to do.

We're not a faceless brand that's just appeared out of nowhere. We've been quietly getting on with it for over half a century. This shop is simply a new way for you to get hold of what we make, without the runaround.
